It's been quite a while since I've published anything new on my gallery. Fortunately, I've been working with some projects the requires a lot of my dedication, which doesn't leave me with much spare time to work on something worthy of sharing, apart from the doodling while ridding the bus on the way home...
The most ambitions project is the Gamestudio 78. An independent game company located in my hometown Oporto - Portugal - that started with five very dedicated specimens as founders, including myself, the concept artist. At the moment we are working on our very first title "HUSH".
"HUSH" is an adventure game that will immerse you into the world of fears. Fears that all of us experienced at least once in our lifetime. From when we ran across the dark hallway to reach the bathroom or that big fat spider that lived on the basement. This game will offer strategic fighting with various monsters, several puzzles that will block your progress on the game and, above all, a compelling story that would grab you through the entire game.
Our main character for this game is called Ashlyn. A small child that, for unknown reasons, ended up in an old, abandoned and gloomy orphanage. Your goal as a player is to escape this nightmarish place, while gathering clues that will get you closer and closer to the reason behind your presence there.
This game will initially be released for PC and IOS. Further platforms will be included, depending on the crowd funding result that i'll explain on the next paragraph...
Scheduled for the 1st of March, we will start a crowd funding campaign on the website IndieGogo. This funding will help us invest on hardware necessary for the development of this first title, expand our current team and pay for further licensing. I'll write another journal on the future, sharing the link to the campaign page for whoever wants to join us and contribute to make this project to reach a world wide audience.
I'll leave you for now and, as usual, keep up the great work and see you around
